Our passion for the subjects that we specialise in and our caring nature allow us to build a good rapport with our students. With a combined teaching experience spanning over four decades in a Special Assistance Plan (SAP) school, we specialise in the teaching of Physics and Chemistry. Contrary to popular belief, the focus of learning should not just be about achieving results, but rather, the process in which values are sewn into the hearts and minds of our students. We seek to do just that: to provide your child with the relevant tools of analysis and the right mindset to comprehend and appreciate scientific concepts and theories. Decades of teaching in an SAP school have proven that with unwavering faith and a thirst to succeed, nothing is impossible: as evidenced by the consistently outstanding results attained by the thousands of students under our care. By adopting a scaffolding approach, we ensure that abstract and complex ideas are progressively unpacked such that students are able to internalise and integrate these to effectively answer the plethora of questions, especially the non-standard ones that they may encounter in national examinations. Through the emphasis placed on real-world examples, we allow our students to gain greater clarity by referencing daily life, and to draw connections among the various topics taught. This will help to build strong foundations, allowing students to see the subjects in a new light. We are also attentive to the needs of different students from varying backgrounds, customising our teaching pedagogy to ensure that no child is left behind. Our thorough understanding of the content knowledge and vast experience have also allowed us to develop comprehensive notes while keeping abreast with the latest MOE syllabus.
